We are excited to share news about one of our amazing WGI Writers: Willie Carver. His new book, Tore All to Pieces, is set to release on March 17! He is also featured on the Loblolly Press: In Conversation Podcast. Listen to it on their Substack here!

Willie participated in our previous writing workshops with American Library Association, and had this to say about his upcoming release: 

“I am so excited for the release of Tore All to Pieces. I’m grateful to the universities in Virginia, Vermont, South Carolina, and Wisconsin that have invited me to speak, and to Loblolly Press for this opportunity to talk about queer folks living in the South — about resistance, love, and choosing dignity through storytelling.
