2024 GALA

THE EDISON BALLROOM, TUESDAY, APRIL 16TH

The Writers Guild Initiative is dedicated to making the art of storytelling accessible to diverse, traditionally underserved populations through writing workshops.

All proceeds from this year’s Gala will engage emerging writers – including combat veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan and their families, immigrant youth, LGBTQ asylum seekers, and people living with long COVID and chronic illness – as they build their skills as writers with the guidance of our professional mentors, develop their individual voices, and share their stories.

With your support, WGI will be able to grow our impactful programs and work with new communities in 2024.
